According to Customs statistics, from January to September 2025, China's casting exports showed a year-on-year increase. The total export volume under 20 tariff codes reached 4.763 million tons, representing a 4.4% year-on-year growth; the total export value amounted to 13.23 billion US dollars, up 3.7% compared to the same period of the previous year. Exports to the United States totaled 1.034 million tons, a 11.9% decrease year-on-year, with an export value of 3.16 billion US dollars, down 5.4% year-on-year.

In September, exports under the 20 tariff codes amounted to 527,000 tons, reflecting a 5.2% year-on-year increase but a 5.0% decline on a month-on-month basis; the export value was 1.45 billion US dollars, rising 3.0% year-on-year while falling 6.3% from the previous month. Exports to the United States in September reached 101,000 tons, down 20.6% year-on-year and 9.4% month-on-month, with an export value of 310 million US dollars, decreasing by 12.5% year-on-year and 10.4% month-on-month.
