3D printing technology is becoming more and more mature, and the pace of engineering application is accelerating
At one exhibitor’s booth, we heard that they have sold nearly 100 3D sand printers last year. On the first opening day of the exhibition, they have just released a new model equipment, and signed 4 sales contracts with a machine tool casting enterprise. The manager of the company said, they believe the pace of engineering applications of 3D printing will accelerate.
Foundry material and technology made new breakthroughs
The showcased casting quality has made a big breakthrough in terms of material performance, process complexity and manufacturing technology, which has attracted many attention. For example, Anhui Yingliu Group's "F-type heavy gas turbine secondary blade", which is made of directional columnar crystal superalloy material and large-size thin-wall hollow complex structure, is used for 300MW class F heavy gas turbine. The service temperature reached 1400℃, the first domestic successful development and has been delivered for installed application; Yunnan Taibiao Group exhibited TB-LP6032 Dragon gate machining center bed casting, material HT300, using high carbon equivalent, high silicon carbon ratio, micro alloying composition formula, the development of nitrogen content stable control of 90ppm-100ppm, to ensure the hardness and hardness uniformity of the casting, which were highly praised by experts.
