With the Belt and Road Initiative, to facilitate deeper participation of Chinese foundry enterprises in the Asia-Pacific market and foster trade and investment cooperation between Chinese and Thai enterprises, China Foundry Association, in collaboration with the industry resources of forging, heat treatment and welding, will organize the "METAL THAILAND 2026" exhibition, which is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 16, 2026, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangkok, Thailand.
The exhibition will feature four core themes: foundry, forging, heat treatment, and welding. It will gather more than 200 domestic and international exhibitors to present advanced production technologies, high-end metal products, green and sustainable materials, as well as intelligent manufacturing equipment and integrated solutions in the field of fundamental manufacturing processes. The event aims to establish a comprehensive, industry-wide professional platform covering the entire industrial chain of basic manufacturing across Southeast Asia, while exploring new opportunities and fostering enhanced exchange and cooperation between China and Southeast Asian countries in the domain of metal casting.
During the exhibition, a series of high-profile supporting events--including industry forums, technical seminars, product launches, Sino-Thai entrepreneur networking sessions, and business matchmaking targeting Southeast Asian market will be organized. These activities are expected to attract exhibitors and visitors from Thailand and across Southeast Asia, representing key stakeholders in the metal casting sector and its upstream and downstream industries, thereby positioning the event as a premier industry gathering in the Southeast Asian metal manufacturing landscape.

Highlights of the Exhibition
1. Hosted by National Industry Associations: Jointly organized by China Foundry Association, Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry, China Heat Treatment Association, China Welding Association, the exhibition leverages the global resources and international influence of these four national-level industry associations, ensuring high-level professional guidance and extensive industrial participation.
2. Integration of Innovation and Industrial Chains in Thermal Processing Technologies: By integrating the innovation chain with the industrial chain across foundational thermal processing technologies--including foundry, forging, heat treatment, and welding--the exhibition offers a comprehensive one-stop platform for showcasing and trading products ranging from raw materials and equipment to finished components. This fully addresses procurement and supply demands from key sectors such as metalworking, machinery manufacturing, automotive, electronics, intelligent systems, and automation industries.
3. Access to Strategic Policy Advantages In alignment with the Belt and Road Initiative: the exhibition facilitates deeper engagement of Chinese foundry and related enterprises. It supports market expansion into the Asia-Pacific region and enables enterprises to capitalize on preferential policies under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement. Furthermore, it serves as a strategic bridge for enhancing trade and investment collaboration between Chinese and Thai enterprises.
4. Targeted Buyer Engagement
Leveraging extensive resources from mechanical industry associations and media networks across numerous Asian countries, we will proactively invite key stakeholders—including industry associations, manufacturing enterprises, procurement officers, and technical experts—from sectors such as automotive components, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, electronic manufacturing, mining and metallurgical equipment, and municipal infrastructure development. Additionally, representatives from universities, research institutions, and specialized media outlets will be invited to attend the exhibition. This strategic outreach aims to facilitate efficient connections between exhibitors and qualified Asian buyers.
